Around 300 people have been released from SF County jails in the past three weeks due to precautions taken to stop the spread of COVID-19.
As more and more folks are released from jail, NoNewSFJails Coalition was immediately concerned at the lack of community support and resources that are available due to Shelter-in-Place. So we made a resource list for people recently released to help them navigate the COVID-19 era of San Francisco. We posted flyers outside of CJ1’s Intake & Release Center directing folks to where they can get a full copy of our resource list at Glide’s drop-in center.
